EMPHNET Launches FETP Alumni Network to Connect Graduates Across the Region

EMPHNET has launched the Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) Alumni Network, a private online space designed to bring together graduates of FETPs across the Eastern Mediterranean Region and other priority countries.

 

The network provides FETP alumni with a dedicated space to connect with fellow graduates, share knowledge and experiences, showcase their expertise and professional achievements, and access career and learning opportunities.

 

Why Join the Network?

Through the FETP Alumni Network, graduates can:

 

  • Connect with fellow FETP graduates and expand their professional networks.
  • Create professional profiles highlighting their expertise, publications, and experience.
  • Access job, deployment, consultancy, fellowship, grant, training, and research opportunities.
  • Exchange knowledge and experiences with public health professionals from different countries.
  • Stay informed about public health news, events, announcements, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other alumni on public health projects and initiatives.

 

The network includes a live feed, direct chat and messaging, notifications, country-specific portals, networking tools, and spaces to share publications, photos, and other professional content.

 

Beyond networking, the network aims to foster a community of practice that supports continuous learning, knowledge exchange, collaboration, and professional growth among FETP graduates. It will also help strengthen the regional FETP alumni network and develop a roster of experts who can contribute to regional public health needs.

 

The network is developed and managed by EMPHNET as part of its efforts to strengthen collaboration, professional development, knowledge exchange, and public health workforce capacity, while helping FETP graduates stay connected beyond their training.
